On Purpose by Jay Shetty

Jay Shetty says that his purpose is “to make wisdom go viral.” Expect to gain new insights, broadened perspectives and certainly bucket loads of wisdom from this podcast.

Jay’s story is extremely intriguing. He became a monk at 21, hence the title of his book, Think Like A Monk. You’d think, oh, he’s sorted then. Mindfulness and peace unlocked, but nope, he knew staying in his monk life was not his forever path. He left India behind to apply what he learnt in the real world.

Guess what? He was met with many setbacks, roadblocks and challenges which he lists on his website. At 26, he was broke, $25,000 in debt, living with his parents, directionless, depressed and confused about his purpose.

Today, his story looks a lot different and his conversations on the podcast are based on his desire to help people discover and connect with their own purpose.
